FANNY AND FANNY HOTSHOT BIDETS
How long does it take to install a Fanny Bidet?
It should take about 10 minutes to install a Fanny bidet and about 15 minutes to install a Fanny Hotshot. Fanny Hotshot can take a bit longer because you have to hook up the hot water line.
If you don't have easy access to your sink for warm water we provide an inlet cap so you can still use your bidet without the warm water connection.
Do I need to hire a plumber to install my Fanny bidet?
No! In general, our bidets are easy to install and only require minimal tools. An adjustable wrench is helpful but not required, you'll be up and running in no time.
What's the difference between the Fanny and Fanny Hotshot?
Glad you asked. Fanny is our cold water bidet while Fanny Hotshot is able to supply hot and cold water to your bidet. This comes in handy for anyone living in a part of the country that gets very cold in the winter. Trust us, getting near-freezing water sprayed at your butt in the early morning can be a bit shocking.
Why should I choose a Fanny bidet instead of a bidet from a different company?
Do you mean besides the fact that we are awesome?! We've put a lot of R&D into our bidets, not to mention that we had to do quite a bit of testing to get everything just right for your washing pleasure. Our bidets are easy to install and only take 10-15 minutes, do not require an electrical connection, and are super easy to use.
Our Poo Crew is also on standby to help you with all of your customer service needs and we also offer a 30-day return guarantee if your but hasn't touched the bidet and is in like-new condition.
Where does the cold water come from for a Fanny bidet?
Good question! Fanny and Fanny Hotshot get their cold water supply from the same water connection that supplies water to your toilet tank. Our bidets come with a T Adapter and flex hose that you need to install and connect to the T Adapter and Fanny bidet.
Where does the hot water come from for a Fanny Hotshot?
Let us enlighten you with some poo talk. Fanny Hotshot requires your toilet to be located next to or very near to your sink. Fanny Hotshot comes with a T Adapter and plastic hose that you need to install and connect to the hot water supply for the bidet.
What if the water pressure is too high and it hurts?
Not to worry, your Fanny Bidets come with a water pressure dial so you can adjust the water pressure that comes out of the nozzle. You can also close the water supply valve a bit so less water is going into your Fanny Bidet.
Am I supposed to use toilet paper or a towel to dry off?
This falls under the personal preference column. You don’t need to, but you may find yourself walking around with damp underwear or pants if you don’t. You can always use our Bambooty or Rebooty toilet paper to dry yourself off, but it certainly isn’t necessary.
Do Fanny bidets require an electricity connection?
No, our bidets do not require any electrical connection.
Won’t the bidet just make poop particles go all over the place?
Generally no, unless your water pressure is set to “remove paint off of concrete” mode (we don’t actually have that level on our knob, so you should be fine). The water jet is engineered to be very precise and will only clean your butt or womanly parts with no need to worry about pee or poop particles flying all over. Sure, the bidet takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it and know what settings work for you, you'll be as clean as a whistle.
Is it expensive to buy a Fanny Bidet?
No, especially when you add up all the money you spend on toilet paper for you and possibly your family in a given year. The average American household (2.6 people—don't ask us about the 0.6) uses approximately 409 rolls of toilet paper per year. The average roll of the good stuff might have about 150 sheets per roll, so we are talking about using approximately 61,000 (409 x 150) per average household per year. The average cost per 100 sheets is about $0.40. This means that the average household is spending about upwards of $240 per year on toilet paper. You can start to see how our Fanny Bidets pay for themselves fairly quickly.
Aren’t bidets just for women? What about men?
Fanny Bidets are for everyone! While they’re great for feminine hygiene, men benefit from bidets just as much. Bidets help anyone looking for a cleaner, more refreshing bathroom experience, regardless of gender. Whether it's post-bathroom freshness, hemorrhoid relief, or just wanting to feel more hygienic, a bidet is an equal-opportunity bathroom accessory. Trust us, once men give it a try, they’ll wonder how they ever lived without one!
I’m worried about the bidet’s cleanliness—won't it get dirty?
Good news: our bidet nozzles are designed to be self-cleaning! After each use, the nozzle automatically rinses itself to stay fresh and hygienic. On top of that, our bidets are made with antimicrobial materials to further prevent bacteria buildup. If you’re extra concerned, you can use the Nozzle Clean feature or wipe the nozzle down with a gentle cleaner once in a while, but rest assured, we’ve already thought about cleanliness so you don’t have to stress.
Is using a Fanny Bidet better for the environment?
Absolutely, yes! Americans use around 36 million rolls of toilet paper per day. That’s a lot of trees—about 15 million per year, to be exact. Fanny Bidets drastically reduce your need for toilet paper, and some people even forego it entirely, using just a small towel to pat dry. Less toilet paper means fewer trees chopped down, less water wasted (yes, making toilet paper uses a lot water), and less strain on your plumbing system. It’s the eco-friendly choice for your posterior and the planet!
Aren’t bidets messy?
Not at all! In fact, they can be less messy than toilet paper. The water stream is designed to be precise, so you're not spraying water all over the bathroom like a rogue fire hose. Our Fanny Bidet attachments are engineered to aim directly where it's needed, so there is no splashing or water park reenactments. Plus, our bidets have customizable settings, so you can adjust the water pressure to your liking.
Do bidets really get you cleaner than toilet paper?
The short answer: Absolutely! Bidets are arguably more effective than toilet paper because water removes residue that paper can’t always catch. In theory, you may be able to achieve something close to the same cleanliness as a bidet but it may take you half a roll. Imagine washing your hands with just a napkin after eating ribs—gross, right? Now think of water as the ultimate hygiene upgrade for your butt. Bidets leave you fresher, cleaner, and less prone to irritation or leftover “debris”. Once you go bidet, you may never look at toilet paper the same way again.
If I move, can I take my Fanny bidet with me?
Yes, you most certainly can. Or, you can leave it for the next person to enjoy and give us a call and order a new one for your new home or apartment. As far as removing your Fanny bidet, you just reverse the same process as when you installed it, bada-bing, bada-boom.
BAMBOOTY (BAMBOO) TOILET PAPER
What is Bambooty toilet paper made out of?
Bamboo toilet paper is made from the fibers of bamboo plants. Bamboo is a type of fast-growing grass, and its fibers are processed to create a soft, durable pulp ideal for making toilet paper. Unlike traditional toilet paper made from trees, bamboo regenerates quickly(some species can grow a few feet per day), making it an excellent eco-friendly alternative.
Is bamboo toilet paper as soft as regular toilet paper?
Yes, bamboo toilet paper is often just as soft, if not softer than traditional toilet paper. Despite its toughness in the wild, bamboo fibers can be processed into a silky-smooth texture, so you won’t have to sacrifice comfort for sustainability. In fact, many people find bamboo toilet paper to be gentler on their skin.
Is bamboo toilet paper safe for septic tanks?
Absolutely! Bamboo toilet paper is 100% biodegradable and breaks down easily in water, making it safe for septic systems and most plumbing. Because it’s free from harsh chemicals, bamboo toilet paper dissolves quickly, reducing the risk of clogs or backups.
Is bamboo toilet paper more expensive than regular toilet paper?
Bamboo toilet paper can be slightly more expensive than traditional toilet paper, especially compared to bargain brands. However, it’s more cost-effective in the long run because of its durability as you’ll use fewer sheets per visit. Plus, the price of bamboo toilet paper has been dropping as it becomes more popular and widespread.
Is bamboo toilet paper good for people with sensitive skin?
Yes! Bamboo toilet paper is hypoallergenic and free from many of the harsh chemicals, dyes, and fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin and are typically used in making traditional toilet paper. Bambooty is an excellent choice for people prone to skin irritation or allergies.
How sustainable is bamboo toilet paper?
Bamboo toilet paper is one of the most sustainable options available. Bamboo grows incredibly fast (up to three feet a day), doesn’t require pesticides, and regenerates after being harvested without needing to be replanted. Unlike traditional paper, which relies on slow-growing trees, bamboo toilet paper is a renewable resource that can significantly reduce deforestation.
Is bamboo toilet paper strong and durable?
Yes, bamboo toilet paper is strong and durable! Despite its softness, bamboo fibers are incredibly tough. This means that bamboo toilet paper holds up well during use and won’t disintegrate in your hand like some thinner traditional papers. You’ll find that you need fewer sheets because of its strength and because of its stronger fiber, you’ll probably have fewer mishaps of your fingers poking through the toilet paper.
Can bamboo toilet paper be flushed without causing plumbing problems?
Yes, bamboo toilet paper can be flushed just like regular toilet paper. Because it’s biodegradable and breaks down quickly in water, it’s safe to flush and won’t cause problems for your plumbing or septic system. In fact, its quick dissolution makes it less likely to cause clogs than thicker, more processed toilet paper.
Is bamboo toilet paper better for the environment than recycled toilet paper?
Both bamboo toilet paper and recycled toilet paper are more eco-friendly than traditional toilet paper, but they each have their advantages. Bamboo toilet comes from a renewable, fast-growing resource and doesn’t require the same energy-intensive recycling process. Recycled toilet paper reuses existing paper materials, reducing the need for new raw resources. Both are great choices, but bamboo toilet paper offers a balance of sustainability, softness, and durability.

DERRI-AIR TOILET SPRAYS
How do toilet sprays work?
Our Derri-Air toilet sprays are designed to be sprayed into the toilet bowl before you do your business. The spray forms a barrier of essential oils on the surface of the water, trapping odors beneath and preventing them from escaping into the air. Once you flush, the oils and trapped smells go down the drain!
Do toilet sprays really work?
Yes, our Derri-Air toilet sprays really do work! They use essential oils and other natural compounds to trap and neutralize bathroom odors before they have a chance to spread. If used as directed, they’re very effective in keeping your bathroom smelling fresh, even after a visit that might otherwise be not so pleasantly fragrant.
How many sprays do I need to use?
Usually, 2-3 sprays directly into the toilet bowl water are enough to create a solid odor barrier. After a few tries, you’ll quickly figure out your perfect number based on personal experience and the situation.
Can I use Derri-Air after I go, or does it have to be before?
Toilet sprays are most effective when used before you go, as they form a barrier that traps odors beneath the water. However, if you forget, you can use the spray afterward to help freshen the air, but it won’t be as effective at neutralizing odors that have already escaped.
Are toilet sprays safe for plumbing and septic systems?
Yes! Toilet sprays are generally safe for plumbing and septic systems. The essential oils and other ingredients dissolve in water and are broken down naturally without causing harm to your pipes or septic tank.
Do Derri-Air toilet sprays contain harmful chemicals?
Our toilet sprays are made from natural essential oils and plant-based ingredients, so they’re free from harmful chemicals like parabens, phthalates, and formaldehyde. They’re a safer alternative to aerosol air fresheners, which can contain synthetic fragrances and chemicals.
How long does a bottle of toilet spray last?
A standard 4 oz bottle of toilet spray typically lasts around 200 uses, depending on how much you spray each time. Our larger 8 oz bottles can last longer, but that depends on your usage.
Will Derri-Air toilet sprays cause staining in the toilet bowl?
No, our toilet sprays generally do not cause staining. The essential oils used in our sprays are water-soluble and made from plants, so they get flushed away with the water.
What’s the difference between toilet sprays and air fresheners?
Toilet sprays prevent odors from escaping the toilet bowl in the first place, while traditional air fresheners mask the smell after it’s already in the air. Toilet sprays are proactive, while air fresheners are reactive. Plus, toilet sprays tend to be made from natural ingredients, while many air fresheners contain synthetic chemicals.
Can I use toilet spray in public restrooms?
Absolutely! Our toilet sprays are portable and discreet, making them perfect for public restrooms. Our sprays can easily fit in your bag or pocket. You’ll be the hero of the public restroom, leaving it smelling fresh for the next person—whether it’s a workplace bathroom, airport, or your in-laws’ house. Well, maybe you can leave it at home when you go to your in-laws’ house.
Are Derri-Air toilet sprays safe for children and pets?
Yes, our toilet sprays are generally safe for use in homes with children and pets, especially since they are plant-based and made from natural ingredients. However, it’s still a good idea to store them out of reach of young children or pets to prevent accidental ingestion or exposure. Now if you have a baby or a smelly pet, I can’t say we recommend spraying it on your child or pet to hide their smell.
What scents are available?
We offer Derri-Air in Sweet Almond & Coconut for those who are more tropically inclined and Sweet Citrus & Vanilla for a more fruity scent.
