I Just Ordered a Fanny Bidet and It Doesn’t Fit My ToiletUpdated 7 months ago

Do You Have a Skirted Toilet?

If so, help is on the way. With most toilets, you would normally install the T Adapter between the fitting under the toilet tank and the flex hose, but with a skirted tank, you may need to place that T Adapter in between the water supply valve and the flex hose. Depending on what is commonly used where you live, you may need to use a different T Adapter depending on your water supply line size. If the T Adapter that comes with your Fanny Bidet doesn’t fit, you may have a 1/2” water/ supply line. Get in touch with us as we sell different fittings.

If the T adapter works with your water supply valve, follow the rest of the instructions and connect the hoses as normal; everything should work out just fine.

I Ordered a Fanny Hotshot Bidet But My Hot Water Connection Is Too Far Away

There is no way about it, this is a tough situation, but not all is lost. If you don’t have a hot water connection close to your toilet, you can still use your Fanny Hotshot Bidet without the hot water connection. We provide an inlet cap to close off the hot water connection on the Fanny Hotshot bidet. Just follow the installation instructions and skip the hot water connection and you are all set. The Flex Hoses Do Not Fit

Most flex hoses are 3/8” but if you live in California, you may have 1/2” fittings. Not to worry, we offer 1/2” flex hoses and different types of T Adapters to fit your needs and have you using your Fanny Bidet as soon as possible.

I Can’t Get My Toilet Seat Off

Many toilets have caps over the toilet seat screws. Locate the caps, gently pry them off or pry them open and you should have access to the toilet seat screws. If you reach under the toilet, there may be rubber or plastic nuts that holds the toilet seat screws in place. Reach under the toilet directly under the toilet seat screws, hold them with your hand or an adjustable wrench if needed, and use your trusty screwdriver to unscrew the toilet seat screws.

If Your Toilet Has A Quick Release Toilet Seat, lift the toilet seat lid and seat and you should see one or two quick-release buttons. Push the buttons and lift your toilet seat up or slide it until it releases from the toilet bowl. Now grab your trusty screwdriver again, reach under the toilet, and remove the screws and caps. Place your Fanny Bidet on the toilet and reinstall the same screws you just removed. From here on out, reinstall your toilet seat and follow the Fanny Bidet installation instructions.

The Toilet Seat Isn’t Lining Up Anymore

This is an easy fix, you just need a quick alignment. All you need to do is loosen the toilet seat screws a bit and then make sure the toilet seat is all the way forward and that your Fanny Bidet is all the way back. Once this is done, tighten the toilet seat screws and you are all set!
